Every now and then someone will take already great idea and combine it with something completely different to make one Superb idea.
I think this is superb.
The first part of this is using auction ads. If you dont know what auction ads is, the concept is simple. Ebay has an affiliate program which has performance bonuses. Auction ads allows everyone who is part of it to combine their referalls and take advantage of the higher rate of pay.
I own a few forums powered by vbulletin and while searching for something totally unrelated I came across a plugin which will automatically parse all Ebay links that have been put into posts and change them into Auction Ads links.
I dont think I need to tell you how powerful this is.
You create a forum based around some item which sells often on ebay and you encourage, even promote, the posting of urls to ebay.
Normally you would have to manually change every link to an auction ads link and promote them. Now you let your forum members do this for you.
